KARACHI: Three terrorists were killed in a police encounter near Northern Bypass area, said police sources on Monday.

According to sources, police contingent reached Khuda Bakhsh Goth on a tip-off. Upon arrival terrorists opened fire on them.

In an hour long exchange of fire, three terrorists were gun down.

Suicide vests and ammunition were recovered from the possession of terrorists.

The terrorists were planning a major terrorist attack in Karachi.
