Former cricketer Umar Gul’s father passes away

Chairman Naqvi offered prayers for the departed soul

Former Pakistan Test cricketer Umar Gul’s father, Nadir Khan, has passed away.

His funeral prayers will be offered today at 4:30 PM at the Pishtakhara graveyard in Peshawar.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, MohsinNaqvi, expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of Umar Gul’s father.

In his condolence message, Chairman Naqvi offered prayers for the departed soul. He also prayed for the bereaved family, wishing them strength and resilience to bear this irreparable loss.

Umar Gul announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on October 16, 2020. During his career, he represented Pakistan in 47 Test matches, 130 One Day Internationals, and 60 T20 matches.
