According to leading Indian daily The Times of India, Kulbhushan Jhadav, the India serving Naval officer detained in Pakistan over espionage charges, confessed to be an Indian spy during his meeting with his mother and wife at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad.

Jadhav had bizarrely greeted the two women by acknowledging that he was indeed an Indian spy and had engineered a spate of terror attacks in Pakistan. Jadhav went on to narrate the details of Pakistan's charge-sheet against him.

On hearing all this Commander Jhadav's mother Avanti inturrupted him and tried to put her words in his mouth that he was a businessman and abducted from Iran.

The Times of India writes: "But why are you saying all this? You were doing business in Iran from where you were abducted. You must tell the truth," an angry Avanti Jadhav interrupted her son Kulbhushan Jadhav on Monday when she and daughter-in-law Chetna were brought face-to-face with the Indian national held in Pakistan.
