Complain filed against Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty
Web Desk: Rojgar Aghari Republican Party of India filed a fresh complaint against Bollywood super star Salman Khan and actress-entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty for using word ‘Bhangi’ publicly.
The Bollywood stars are accused of hurting the sentiments of the Scheduled Caste Community. The further plan of the party is to protest against the two celebrities if police doesn’t take due action.
According to the Party’s Vice President Kishor Kumar Masoom, a new complaint was filed at the Goregaon police station here on Monday.
Kumar said that the party had earlier filed complain against the actors on December 23, but no action has taken by the police.
“So we are saying that if the police and law system will not take action against Salman and Shilpa within 48 hours, we, the Dalit Samaj across the country will protest and in a democratic way, will urge the authority to protect the law by punishing them for their wrong deeds.†He added.
Salman used the insulting word ‘Bhangi’ against a member of the scheduled caste on a TV show. While Shilpa stated in an interview ‘I look like a bhangi’.
Shilpa apologized for her action on Twitter. But the party claims that sorry doesn’t change the reality, according to the law, they should get imprisonment of five years.
