Army Chief briefs Senate on security situation
ISLAMABAD: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa is briefing the Senate Committee of the Whole on emerging national security paradigm for Pakistan, Aaj News reported.
Director General Military Operations Major General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, DG ISI Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar and director general Inter Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Major Genral Asif Ghafoor accompanied the COAS in the briefing. The committee session, which lasted over four hours.
COAS briefed the House on his recent visits to Iran and other countries with special reference to regional security situation with respect to recent visits and developments.
