Film Verna does record business in three days
LAHORE: Film director of 'Verna' Shoaib Mansoor said on Tuesday that his film did a record business of Rs 27 million in three days of its release.
Talking to APP, he said that new Indian film, 'Tumari Sunno', of Vidya Balan has earned only Rs 2.03 million in three days.
Indian film, 'Qareeb Qareeb' of Irfan Khan carried out business of Rs 8 million in first week.
It means that film, Verna has hit the box office as compared to the new Indian films which is a good omen for Pakistan film industry, he observed.
He hoped that film Verna would do a huge business in coming days.—APP
