KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal said on Saturday that he had held the recent meeting with Farooq Sattar on the behest of Establishment, who had requested it to bring him to the table.

Addressing a press conference in front of his residence in Karachi’s Defence area, he said that he had contacts with Establishments only for solution to Muhajir people’s problems but ‘he is not its agent’. He said: "It is MQM-P chief Sattar who meets Establishment. Sattar also met former Sindh Rangers chief during his arrest on August 22 and on his release next day, he formed MQM-P. Now it is clear, who is with establishment.

"Today I want to tell all Pakistanis that the Establishment called us and made us meet MQM-P chief in connection with alliance.  Sattar was already sitting there for the planned meeting when we reached at the venue,” Kamala said.  He also disclosed that Sattar had been calling them through Establishment for the past eight months. It was Sattar who wanted to join hands with PSP, he added.

“MQM despite having majority of the seats in provincial assembly since last 30 years did nothing for the city and for the Sindh province and is still appealing to Muhajir community for the votes in coming 2018 elections for the betterment of the city,” Kamal said.

The PSP chief blamed MQM-P for bad law & order situation of the city. “The garbage heaps are seen everywhere, power shortage has become routine, and water supply has entirely disturbed in the city,” he said. PSP chief claimed that it was he who led the city towards greatest development in the history. “I brought every kind of development in the city but the party isolated him,” he said.

Kamal said that the politics, which had been played on the name of Muhajir community, was nothing more than an enmity against the community. He added: “PSP do not promote politics on the basis of community as it is and will always fight for the betterment of whole Pakistan.” “My mother is no more in the world but if was alive, I will not drag her for my politics,” he criticized Sattar and said he quit politics but after 2 hours, rejoined it under the cover of his mother.

He stated that he also knows how to play a dirty politics but he had a fear of God. He accused the MQM-P chief of being close to MQM founder as he had still not spoken against him.  He said Sattar had usually expressed concern that his party mandate would reduce in the 2018 general elections, but said why the party had done nothing to improve the socio-economic conditions of Karachi.—PPI
