Pakistan is home to highest mountains. Some mountains of Pakistan are quite easy for climbing.

Here is the list of top ten highest peaks of Pakistan, many of which are in the list of world top 20 highest peaks.

Masherbrum:

Masherbrum is located in the place of Ghanche District, Gilgit Baltistan of Pakistan. It has the height of about 7,821 meters that makes it as being the 22nd highest mountain in the world.

Distaghil Sar:

Distaghil Sar is the highest mountain in the Hispar Muztagh. It is basically known out to be a sub-range of the Karakoram mountain range as in Gilgit-Baltistan. It is the 19th highest mountain on earth and the 9th highest peak in Pakistan.

 Gasherbrum II:

Gasherbrum II is famously prominent as the last peak in eight thousand meter ranking. This mountain is situated on the North West of Baltoro Glacier that is just besides Hidden Peak. You can call this mountain as one of the best peak to start high mountain climbing.

Batura:

This mountain has the height of around 7,785KM and it is situated in Gilgit. This mountain lie near the middle of the Batura Muztagh as which is the only part of the Karakoram which is west of the Hunza River. Along with this mountain is the Hunza Valley that lies in the Gilgit District of the Gilgit-Baltistan area of Pakistan.

Kunyang Chhish:

Khunyang Chhish is located in Hispar Muztagh. It is defined as a subrange of the Karakoram mountains of Pakistan.It has the height of around 7823m. This mountain lies in the heart of the Hispar Muztagh and north of the Hispar Glacier that makes it turn out to be one of the major glaciers of the Karakoram. It rises on the southwest side of the Khunyang Glacier.

Broad Peak:

Broad Peak mountain is located in Skardu and its height is about 8,016. Broad Peak is part of the Gasherbrum massif in Baltistan on the border, located in the Karakoram mountain range on the border of Pakistan and China and is about 8 kilometers (5.0 mi) from K2.

Gasherbrum -I, Hidden Peak:

This mountain is 3rd highest mountain in Pakistan and the 11th highest peak on Earth. This mountain is located on the border of China-Pakistan. Gasherbrum-I is part of the Gasherbrum massif that is located in the Karakorum region of the Himalaya. Gasherbrum has the word which means “Shining Wall.”

Nanga Parbat:

The well known mountain of Pakistan known, Nanga Parbat, has the height of about 8,125m and is located Diamer. This mountain has extraordinary dramatic peak that is all rising far above its surrounding terrain. This mountain has witnessed with the great number of mountaineering deaths in the mid and early 20th century that give this mountain with the nickname “killer mountain”.

Chogori K-2:

K-2 has the height of around 8,611m. It is the second heighest mountain in the world and has been mentioned to have the second-highest fatality rate among the eight thousands. Over this mountain during the climbing adventures one person dies on the mountain for every four who summit. It is impossible or rather calling the death towards you to climb this mountain in winter.
