The dead body of famous Islamic figure Junaid Jamshed has been identified.

According to the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, the dead body of Jamshed was identified with the help of his medical dental history.

Junaid Jamshed along with his wife and 45 others passengers were killed when PIA PK-661 flight crashed near Havelian while en route to Islamabad from Chitral on Wednesday 7th December, 2016.

Jamshed's brother Humayun Jamshed informed that Junaid's funeral prayers will be held at Moin Khan Academy Ground DHA in Karachi.

Earlier remains of Junaid Jamshed's wife were identified and handed over to her relatives.
