PTI forms six-member committee to resolve party differences in KP
1 min readThe Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has constituted a six-member committee to address growing internal differences within its Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter, sources said on Monday.
According to a notification issued by the PTI’s provincial secretary general, the committee will be headed by former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser and includes Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati, provincial secretary general Ali Asghar Khan, provincial ministers Mina Khan Afridi and Akbar Ayub Khan, as well as PTI Peshawar Region President Atif Khan.
According to the notification, the committee will serve to coordinate between party lawmakers, PTI’s parliamentary party and the provincial government.
The committee will also function as a consultative forum for Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, the provincial party president and the Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Ayeen-e-Pakistan (TTAP).
