WEB DESK: A man casually walks the streets of New York while carrying a bucket of gold flakes worth of $1.6 Million wh9ich he picked up from the back of an unattended armed truck in Manhattan.

NYPD is still looking for the man who picked up $1.6 Million worth of bucket filled with gold flakes. In a CCTV footage, the man is seen walking past the truck, comes back, pick up the bucket, and keeps walking again, however, a bit slowly this time, because of the weight of the bucket.

The bucket weights 86-lb, and the man seems to have a problem holding it, therefore he walks slowly, and take pauses between. According to the New York Times, the man probably was unaware of the treasure in the bucket but had his suspicion, and took it off anyway.

“I think he just seen an opportunity and took the pail and walked off,” Detective Martin Pastor told WNBC-TV, which broadcast the footage on Tuesday.

The police said it took him an hour to make it to West 48th street, where he disappeared. The thief is still at large.
