Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif says India's aggression on Line of Control is posing serious threat to regional peace.

In an interview, he said Indian provocations against Pakistan reflect New Delhi's frustration out of failure in addressing the domestic issues as well as the positive developments taking place in Pakistan.

Khawaja Muhammad Asif said Pakistan's successes against terrorism, implementation of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and the indigenous freedom movement spearheaded by the local youth in Occupied Kashmir are matters of worry for India.

He said the ceasefire violations on the Line of Control and Working Boundary are being responded to befittingly.

He said India cannot withdraw or violate the Indus Waters Treaty because the agreement has been protected with international guarantees.

To a question, the Defence Minister said China has been supporting Pakistan in all diplomatic and defense affairs, and this cooperation has no limits.

He said many regional countries, including Iran and Afghanistan, have expressed keenness to benefit from China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
