Indian forces opened fire at Shahkot sector
RAWALPINDI: Indian forces opened fire at Shahkot sector earlier today on Saturday, Aaj News reported.
According to ISPR sources, Indian forces opened fire around 7:40 a.m. Pakistan Army befittingly responded to Indian firing. However, no casualties were reported.
Earlier, at least three martyred including an Infant and eight got injured after Indian forces opened fire at Line of Control (LoC).
As reported, three civilians including a woman and an infant was martyred due to unprovoked Indian firing at Nikyal and Poonch Barasheer Khan sectors. However, forces of Pakistan befittingly responded to Indian firing.
Meanwhile, foreign office summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner J.B Singh to protest regarding continuous violation of ceasefire on Line of Control (LoC).
Besides this, Indian forces in occupied Kashmir has locked Jama Masjid of Srinagar and imposed curfew. Indian forces also arrest dozens of Kashmiris along with Hurriyat leader Mir Waiz.
