LARKANA: Strike was observed on Saturday in Larkana and Kamber-Shahdadkot districts responding to the call of the Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) and other organisations to mourn the bomb blast incident during Friday prayer in Shia mosque at Shikarpur.

Main business, shopping centres and schools remained closed and traffic remained off roads.

The strike remained peaceful while police and Rangers were at high alert.

Shia community staged sit-ins Sit-ins at various points in the city.

Reports from Warah, Nasirabad, Qubo Saeed Khan, Sijawal Junejo, Mirokhan, Dokri, Ratodero Dokri and Bakrani said strike was observed to protest Shikarpur bomb blast.
