KARACHI:The crescent of Muharram-ul-Haram (1436 A.H.) has been sighted, therefore, the first month of the Islamic calender will begin on Sunday, October 26, 2014.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced the decision with a consensus after receiving moon-sighting evidences from across the country, said a handout issued by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, here on Saturday.

The Youm-e-Ashur will fall on November 04, Tuesday.
