HYDERABAD: Two persons lost their lives while 16 others received injuries when a speeding truck over turned near Sunn on Indus Highway on Friday.

According to police, the speeding truck went out of control of driver and overturned near Sunn as a result of which 18 persons onboard the truck received serious injuries.

The injured persons were brought to Liaquat University Hospital where two of them identified as Ahmed Sharif Birhamani and Abdul Hakeem Khoso breathed their last. Eight of 16 injured persons have been identified as Rasool Bux, Qadir Bux, Wazir Ali, Lakha, Ahmed Hassan, Kaloo, Abdul Latif and Imdad Hussain.
