Oral hygiene can save cancer
Experts have been arbitrating the need for proper oral health. Therefore, doctors reckon one should always visit a dentist sporadically. Some researchers have come up with a study that would make it even more vital to preserve a good hygiene.
Swedish researchers behind this study claims that deteriorating to brush teeth appropriately can augment the risk of cancer as higher levels of dental plague is linked to constant health problems.
Dental plague is a key aspect in a gum disease and this infection and irritation play a role in up to one in five cancers.
The researchers came to this conclusion after observing 1,390 arbitrarily chosen adults from Stockholm for 24 years they were subsequently questioned regarding their dental hygiene and other factors associated with cancer. After 24 years when they re-examined the volunteers they found that 35 of the 58 death caused by cancer.
Nevertheless, the researchers have also said that their study does not give a direct link between the two.
