Karachi – 8^th June, 2012: The much awaited Prometheus finally made its screen debut today at Karachi Atrium Cinemas. The 3D movie which is a sci-fi thriller directed by Ridley Scott attracted many known faces from the entertainment industry of Pakistan at its red carpet premiere, where the guests were enthralled by the movie’s special effects and story-line.

The voyage in 20th Century Fox Internationals’ Prometheus 3D movie has Hollywood stalwarts like Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace and Guy Pearce amongst others. Prometheus is set in late 21^st century where the spaceship Prometheus’s crew follows a star map discovered in the remnants of an ancient civilization, to find answers about the origin of humanity. Surprisingly, the crew discovers a threat which could end the human race forever. Ridley Scott, who is an extraordinary director, takes suspense to new depths in the movie and has to his credit many famous movies including Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down and many others.

Speaking at the premiere of Prometheus 3D, Mr. Nadeem H. Mandviwalla, Managing Director, Mandviwalla Entertainment said, “Karachi Atrium Cinemas has ushered a new era in entertainment for the people of Karachi and we aim to build on it by launching more movies like Prometheus. Prometheus 3D is one of the most awaited movies of this summer and we are sure it will live up to its hype. The ambiance for the premiere was developed to match the grandeur of the movie itself. Larger-than-life sculptures from the film were set up inside the cinema to entice the movie-goers into watching the movie. The event was managed by Syntax Communications.
