The much anticipated game of the year 2012, Max Payne 3, made an excellent entrance within the gaming scenario by fetching excellent response. The game was released by "Rockstar" on 15th May 2012.

"Max Payne 3" is a 3rd person shooter and has been released after almost 9 years after its predecessor. The game has an excellent bullet-time gameplay mechanic, much more than what its predecessor could offer.

The storytelling in the game is extra-ordinary. Unobtrusive cut-scenes are trendy and seamlessly integrated into the single-player campaign, while a generous use of narration and inner monologue provide additional insight and occasional moments of dark humor.

The story starts by displaying the renowned character of "Max Payne" getting into trouble with a group of New Jersey mobsters. Fleeing the States, Max starts working as a private security for an influential São Paulo family. And it isn't long before Max is called into action in a bid to save one of his charges.

Bullet time is not something new for this series but the unblemished way through which the new game engine handles the slow-motion combat is the essence of all Max Payne games and is something to look forward to.
