KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday clearly announced its disassociation with the tour of World XI cricket team to Pakistan.

"We were never a part of this event and we were totally not involved in it from the start, besides on the other hand, the Pakistani cricket team is busy preparing for the tour of Sri Lanka," stated PCB spokesman

PCB officials have asked further asked Sindh Sports Minister, Dr. Mohammad Ali Shah, to postpone the event that was scheduled to occur at 25th and 26th of May.

"Hosting an international team is a scrupulous job and requires a severe planning and groundwork on security and other aspects of the visit to organize it in a suitable manner,” uttered the spokesman.

The PCB spokesman also hinted towards the fixation of a mutually agreed future for such tour.
