Lady Gaga "lip-mark" cup grasps $75000
Once Lady Gaga touched her lips on a teacup in a press conference in Tokyo, no one would have wondered that cup to fetch $75,000 (6,011,000 Yen).
The "Gaga-Lip" cup which was auctioned for charity purpose; was available on auction for an entire week and received almost 1300 bids.
Besides the lipstick mark and the autograph of the famous American Celebrity, the cup had a message craved on it which stated, "We pray for Japan".
Lady had earlier shown her consent towards auctioning the cup. The proceeds from the auction would be used to generate funds that would help the victims of the disastrous tsunami that hit Japan last year.
Besides the cup, there were many other items that were put on auction; the cup resulted to be the second most expensive item from the entire lot. The top-priced item was a Kawai crystal piano used by Yoshiki of rock band Japan X, fetching almost $137,260 (11,001,000 yen).
