Domki Murders: SC directs IG Sindh to submit investigation report on March 22

The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was heading the three member bench of the apex court which resumed the hearing of Domki Murder case today.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has directed the Inspector General (IG) Sindh, to submit the investigation report on the Murders of MPA Mir Bakhtiar Domki's wife and daughter.

CJ Iftikhar Chaudhry took Suo moto notice of this case on January 30, after which the apex court has been hearing arguments and reviewing evidence related to the law and order situation in Balochistan and the Domki Murders.

After today's hearing the court ordered IG Sindh to present an investigation report of the murders by the next hearing of this case, which was later adjourned till March 22.

In late Jaunuary, armed men ambushed and shot dead MPA Domki's wife Jhumar, 32 and Daughter Janna, 13, along with their driver, in Karachi.

The police is still investigating the matter.
