The valley of Quetta on Saturday received first snowfall of the winter season, causing chill in the weather and creating great excitement among the dwellers of the city.

As per Met office reports, Ziarat, Pishin, Mastung and Kalat also received snowfall.

The provincial capital started receiving intermittent and light snowfall at about 11:45am which continued falling sporadically till late in night.

The thrilled people came out of their houses to rejoice the snowfall as the provincial capital received snowfall after span of one year.

The temperature dropped to minus 10.C in Quetta soon after it wore the white veil.

The jubilant youth were seen enjoying the snowfall on the roads and streets of the provincial capital.

According to the reports reaching here, Ziarat, Pishin, Mastung and Kalat also braced for light and sporadic snowfall.

Met office has forecast cloudy and rainy weather and more snowfall for Quetta and northern parts of the province for next 24 hours.
