The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has officially canceled its rally scheduled for November 8 in Peshawar.

Instead, party sources revealed that they are considering the establishment of a tent village in Swabi, with an announcement regarding the date expected to be made soon.

Sources indicated that PTI is aiming for a larger event, necessitating thorough preparation. This cancellation comes at a time when there is increasing pressure within the party for protests demanding the release of Imran Khan.

Supporters on social media are particularly vocal, urging party leaders to take action.

PTI leaders Salman Akram Raja and Sher Afzal Marwat have set a goal of mobilizing between 300,000 to 400,000 participants for future protests.

Raja emphasized that he would only call for a protest when he is assured of such turnout.

Marwat stated that if he can gather 300,000 people, he believes the establishment would be forced to engage in negotiations with PTI.
