Musharraf to be arrested on his arrival: Wassan
Provincial Home Minister Sindh Manzoor Hussain Wassan Monday said that the police will arrest former President Gen. Pervez Musharraf at Karachi airport, on arrival as he is proclaimed offender in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and Akber Bugti murder cases.
Addressing a press conference here at his residence, he said "Pervez Musharraf was nominated in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and Akber Bugti murder cases and the trial courts have issued his arrest warrants". As per law the police will arrest him and shift him to Landhi jail", he added.
To a question about the arrest of former president Pervez Musharraf, he said "nobody is above the law", he (Musharraf) will have to face the cases as we faced in the past".
To another question, he said the provincial government granted permission to All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) for holding public meeting on January 8.
