Police Officers of Investigation wing conducting faulty investigation will be dismissed and such negligent officers will never be allowed to stay in service.

Official sources told APP here Sunday that this written warning was issued by SP (Investigation) Model Town Division Shoaib Khurram Janbaz to all subordinates.

In case of any other negligence, the guilty investigator will be reverted to lower rank, he said adding that in minor negligence, his service for specific period will be forfeited.

DSPs, Inspectors, and other subordinate officers during investigation of cases must personally visit the sites of occurrence, record the statements of witnesses and collect all relevant information required under the law, he added.

Shoaib Khurram further warned that the accused even named in the FIR should not be arrested unless until commission of offence or direct or indirect involvement was established.

He said no private transport should be used for conducting raids. He directed them to conduct investigation strictly in accordance with law.

SP said injustice with any person can never be tolerated and it is the duty of investigator officers to deliver justice.
