Many roads and streets in the city went inundated as heavy rains lashed Karachi on saturday afternoon, creating traffic jams and widespread power outages in various areas.

The intensity of the downpour caused visibility issues for many drivers and has led to traffic jams.

Water has accumulated in several areas of the city including near the Saudi consulate in Defence and Schon circle in Clifton. Electricity outages have also been reported in several areas of the city.

The Met Office has forecast cloudy weather with chances of rain in Karachi during next 24 hours.
