A suicide bomber killed a child and wounded five other people after he was identified and shot at in a main market of Darra Adam Khel on Friday.

A would-be suicide bomber was identified as he tried to enter the crowded 'Khalid Market', a main market in Darra Adam Khel, injuring at least ten people.

The locals tried to seize him but he blew himself up when he was shot at, killing a child and wounding 5 people.

Police have cordoned off the area. The injured have been shifted to hospital.
