Managing Director (MD) of Pakistan International Airlines, Ejaz Haroon has resigned, Federal Ministers Rehman Malik and Ch Ahmed Mukhtar told in a media briefing here on Friday.

Ahmed Mukhtar said that Haroon’s resignation had been accepted adding that it is time for ‘all of us have to work together for the progress of PIA.

Rehman Malik said an agreement with protesting employees of PIA had been reached.

After the Ejaz Haroon’s resignation, PIA’s employs announced to end their strike, which continued for four days.
