The parents of Supreme Court's (SC) senior judge Justice Javed Iqbal was laid to rest in a graveyard near Firdous Market in Gulberg area in Lahore.

The funeral prayers of Justice Javed Iqbal's parents was offered at Jamia Masjid Asghari near Kalima Chowk.

Justice Javed Iqbal’s father DIG (rtd) Abdul Hameed and his wife Zareena Bibi lived at a house in Cavalry Ground, Lahore. They were found dead at their home.

Their murder was revealed by one of the two neighbor women tenants. Police has taken their servants in to custody for investigation.

Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said seemingly there is no reason of the murder, the probe will uncover the matter of fact situation.

Justice Javed filed the case at Factory Area Police Station with his brother Col. Saeed.
