One security personnel was killed in a remote control blast at Abdul Khad post in Landi Kotal on late Sunday.

According to details, a jawan of security forces was killed while another injured in a remote control bomb blast.

Security forces cordoned off the area after the incident and started search operation.

On the other hand, unidentified armed men opened fire on security forces convoy when they were on routine patrol in Batgram, area of Caharssada. Two security personnel were killed in an attack.
