The new wave of targeted killings again started as 3 people were shot dead in different parts of Karachi on late Saturday.

The first incident of firing took place in Korangi No. 6/51 C area, where a man was gunned down by unidentified gunmen.

A lady was injured by a bullet coming from unidentified direction in Laalbad area of Landhi.

A man sustained bullet injuries in New Karachi.

Unidentified pillion riders opened fire on a car in Surjani Town Sector 5C, killing one.

In Landhi No. 89, a man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen. The man was identified as Shakeel alias Bagla.

Police and Rangers increased patrols in Karachi to prevent targeted killings.
