At least 60 corpses found in Baghdad
Police on Monday found at least 60 corpses of men tortured and killed execution-style in and around Baghdad, a security source said.
He said the corpses were found in various parts of the capital and its outskirts.
Fourteen corpses had been recovered earlier on Monday from a place called Tuwairegh and were found lying next to each other.
The 14 corpses were believed to be of Arabs kidnapped on Sunday by militiamen in retaliation for a car bomb attack in Baghdad's al-Mashtel neighbourhood that killed 10.
On Sunday police recovered 45 corpses from Baghdad.
Dozens of tortured, bullet-riddled corpses are found daily in Baghdad of men killed in apparent sectarian attacks.
