Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has summoned an important meeting today to review the current regional situation in the wake of the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in US and Israeli strikes, sources said on Sunday.
The meeting will be held today (Sunday) at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad and will be attended by senior military leadership as well as heads of intelligence agencies.
The agenda includes a detailed review of the security situation in the region, particularly developments related to Afghanistan and Iran, the sources added.
Discussions will also focus on foreign policy and national security matters, with consultations expected on Pakistan’s strategic response to evolving regional dynamics.
