Six killed in gun attack on vehicle in Gujrat

A tragic incident unfolded in Dinga, a suburban area of Gujrat, where armed assailants opened fire on a vehicle, killing six people.

According to the police, the attack was a result of an old enmity. The shocking act of violence has raised concerns over law and order in the region.

Inspector General (IG) Punjab, Usman Anwar, has taken notice of the incident, directing the Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Gujranwala to submit a detailed report.

He also ordered the District Police Officer (DPO) of Gujrat to ensure the immediate arrest of the culprits, emphasising that all resources should be utilized to bring the attackers to justice.
