How Saim Ayub created history against South Africa

Saim Ayub has etched his name in cricket history by becoming the youngest player to score a century against South Africa while chasing, achieving this remarkable milestone at the age of 22 years and 207 days.

This historic innings took place on Tuesdayand surpassed records held by some cricket legends.

Ayub not only set the record for the youngest player to achieve this feat in South Africa—previously held by Quinton de Kock at 23 years and 48 days.

But he also ranks as the third youngest overall to score a century against South Africa in One Day Internationals (ODIs).

He follows Ahmed Shehzad and Kane Williamson, who scored centuries at slightly older ages.
