The Pakistan Metrological Department has predicted a minimum temperature of 11 degrees Celsius as Karachi is currently experiencing a significant drop in temperatures.
The city’s current temperature stands at 13 degrees Celsius, with forecasts indicating a possible maximum of 29 degrees Celsius for the day.
A northeast wind is blowing at a speed of 7 kilometers per hour, while humidity levels are recorded at 24%.
In addition to the cold weather, Karachi’s air quality has raised concerns, as the city ranks as the tenth most polluted in the world according to the Air Quality Index.
The concentration of particulate matter in the air has reached 166 micrograms per cubic meter, highlighting the ongoing challenges related to air pollution in the region.

Sindh is set to experience a “mild cold wave” from Saturdaty, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), as winter conditions deepen across the country with predicted rain and snowfall in various regions. The nighttime temperatures in upper Sindh are expected to drop between 7-9 degrees Celsius.
The PMD announced a three-day weather forecast indicating that Karachi is likely to experience cool nights in the coming days from December 2.
