Gold prices in Pakistan saw a decline on Monday, falling by Rs900 per tola to reach Rs283,400. This decrease aligns with a drop in international gold rates.
The price for 10 grams of gold also fell, now listed at Rs242,970 after a decrease of Rs771, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Just a few days earlier, the gold price had risen by Rs2,000, closing at Rs284,300.
On the international market, gold was priced at $2,739 per ounce, down by $9 during the day, with an additional premium of $20.

In recent weeks, gold prices had reached record highs, driven by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and uncertainty surrounding the upcoming U.S. elections, which have increased demand for safe-haven assets.
