Gold prices increased by a massive Rs2,200 per tola in Pakistan on Thursday, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

The latest increase took the price of gold to Rs241,100 per tola.

The price of gold per 10 grams rose by Rs1,886 to reach Rs206,704.

In the international market, the price of gold increased by $21 to $2,311 per ounce.

The price of gold had declined by Rs500 per tola on Tuesday before bouncing back on Wednesday with an increase of Rs1,800 tola on Wednesday.
