In response to security threats, the Punjab government has announced the immediate enforcement of Section 144 in five districts for a duration of three days.
The affected areas include Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, and Kot Addu.
Starting from Saturday, October 12, until Monday, October 14, Section 144 will prohibit all political gatherings, rallies, protests, and similar activities in these districts. This decision was made at the request of the local district administration to ensure public safety and maintain law and order.
The Home Department, Punjab, officially issued a notification outlining the enforcement of these restrictions. Authorities to be focused on safeguarding property and ensuring a peaceful environment during this period.
