Houthis claim drone attack on Tel Aviv

Yemen’s Houthi rebels have announced that they conducted a drone attack targeting Tel Aviv, although Israeli authorities have not confirmed the incident.

In a statement, the Houthis claimed to have successfully struck a vital target in the Jaffa area, stating that their drones reached their objectives without being intercepted.

The Israeli military reported intercepting a “suspicious aerial target” over central Israel but did not provide further details.

This follows a recent claim by the Houthis that they launched cruise missiles at Israel, coinciding with a previous Iranian missile bombardment.

Additionally, the Houthis had previously stated that they fired a missile at Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv, which resulted in Israeli airstrikes on Yemen, including the key port of Hodeida.
