Houthis claim drone attack on Tel Aviv
Yemen’s Houthi rebels have announced that they conducted a drone attack targeting Tel Aviv, although Israeli authorities have not confirmed the incident.
In a statement, the Houthis claimed to have successfully struck a vital target in the Jaffa area, stating that their drones reached their objectives without being intercepted.
The Israeli military reported intercepting a “suspicious aerial target” over central Israel but did not provide further details.
This follows a recent claim by the Houthis that they launched cruise missiles at Israel, coinciding with a previous Iranian missile bombardment.
Additionally, the Houthis had previously stated that they fired a missile at Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv, which resulted in Israeli airstrikes on Yemen, including the key port of Hodeida.

The Houthis, who have held significant territory in Yemen for over a decade, are part of Iran’s “Axis of Resistance” against Israel and the United States.
They have intensified their attacks on maritime targets off the Yemeni coast as a show of solidarity with Palestinians amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
