Belgian woman allegedly raped in Islamabad

A shocking incident of alleged rape of a foreign woman has come to light in the federal capital.

The woman, identified as a 28-year-old Belgian national, was found bound hand and foot in Sector G-6 of Islamabad.

According to initial reports, the woman claimed she had been subjected to sexual assault for five days.

Police have confirmed the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Aabpara Police Station.

The victim was taken to Polyclinic hospital for medical examination.

Police have arrested a suspect, identified as Tameezuddin, based on the woman’s statement. Tameezuddin, a resident of Sector G-6, claims the woman is mentally ill.

However, police have stated that the woman was found without any identification or travel documents.
