The rainfall is forecast in various parts of Sindh on July 20 (today), according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
In addition to Sindh, the possibility of light rainfall has also been predicted in Islamabad, Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as well as Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan regions.
Karachi to experience 39 degrees Celsius weather on Saturday (today).
The PMD has also indicated the likelihood of heavy rainfall in southern Punjab.
Yesterday’s highest temperature recorded in the country was 44 degrees Celsius in Dalbandin and Jacobabad.
Furthermore, parts of Karachi experienced heavy rainfall, while the Old City area saw light showers, though the heatwave is still ongoing.
The PMD reported that rain, windstorms, and thundershowers occurred in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab, and northeast Balochistan; however, hot and humid weather prevailed over other parts of the country yesterday.
