Sindh police seeks FIA help as ‘digital thieves’ impersonate department online

The Sindh police have approached the FIA and PTA regarding the discovery of fake accounts in the name of the police on social media platforms.

These accounts were being run by digital thieves.

Over 70 digital theft accounts have been identified on social media, with these accounts misusing the name and identity of the Sindh Police.

About 47 accounts have been identified on Facebook, 12 on Instagram, and 6 on Twitter.

In total, more than 70 accounts are using the Sindh Police’s name and identity incorrectly.

The Sindh Police have recommended immediate action and the closure of these accounts by the FIA and PTA.
