Gold prices in Pakistan continued to rise for the third consecutive session on Friday, aligning with an increase in the international gold rate.
In the local Pakistani market, the gold price per tola stood at Rs249,000, reflecting a single-day gain of Rs2,200.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs1,886, selling at Rs213,477. This follows a Rs1,200 increase in the gold price per tola on the previous day, Thursday.
The international gold rate also went up on Friday, reaching $2,404 per ounce (including a $20 premium), a gain of $24 during the day.
In contrast, the silver rates in Pakistan remained unchanged at Rs2,900 per tola.
