Gold prices rise in Pakistan once again
Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, aligning with a rise in the international gold rate. In the local market, the gold price per tola stood at Rs241,000, reflecting a single-day increase of Rs700.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs600, reaching Rs206,619, according to the rates shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In contrast, gold prices had remained unchanged in the previous session on Monday.
The international gold rate increased on Tuesday, with the rate set at $2,336 per ounce (including a premium of $20), marking a surge of $10 during the day.
Meanwhile, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs2,820 per tola.
It is worth noting that back in April, gold prices in the local market had reached an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola.
The fluctuations in gold prices are largely driven by changes in the international market, reflecting the global demand and supply dynamics for the precious metal.
