According to royal expert Tom Quinn, Prince Harry reportedly misses his home country of the UK and feels isolated from his friends, who are said to avoid visiting him due to their dislike of his wife, Meghan Markle.
Harry currently resides in Montecito, California, with Meghan, 42, and their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
One of Harry’s longtime friends, Hugh Grosvenor, who is Archie’s godfather, recently got married in England, but Harry and Meghan did not attend the wedding. A royal expert told The Mirror that the Sussexes skipped the celebrations to avoid “disturbing everybody” at the event. Prince William, Harry’s estranged brother, served as an usher at the wedding.
Harry last visited England in May for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, but did not plan to see his friends, as they are said to remind him of his pre-Meghan life, which he prefers to avoid. The royal expert also claimed that Harry’s friends feel “betrayed” by his portrayal of his military service in his memoir “Spare.”
Furthermore, the expert stated that Harry’s friends “don’t like Meghan” and blame her for changing him into “Harry the Hippy.” The expert added, “Harry has reinvented himself in a way that doesn’t work for his family or old friends.”

Earlier this year, Harry renounced his British residency and declared America as his second home, a decision that was backdated to June 29, 2023, the day he and Meghan officially vacated Frogmore Cottage, leaving them without a UK residence.
However, recent reports suggest that Harry is now considering properties in the UK, with Grant Harrold, the former butler of King Charles, stating that “Harry has wanted this and has probably decided it’s what he needs.”
Meanwhile, Meghan is reportedly feeling “rejected” by the UK and is focusing on her Hollywood career.
