A highly-wanted dacoit gang leader was arrested in a police encounter in the Zaman Town area of Korangi, Karachi on Sunday night.
The arrested suspect, identified as Faheem aka Shooter, is facing charges of murder, attempted murder, dacoity (robbery), and illegal weapons possession.
The police stated that the injured suspect, while in custody, has confessed to carrying out more than 100 criminal incidents in the Landhi Korangi area.
The arrested man was operating a large-scale dacoit (robbery) gang.
According to the police, the arrested suspect has been a ringleader and facilitator in the world of crime since 2015.
A video of the suspect evading arrest after committing a street crime against a citizen went viral on social media in 2022.

The Korangi police stated that Faheem “Shooter” used to supply firearms to his gang for carrying out dacoity (robbery) and looting incidents.
