Sindh government has warned citizens about the upcoming monsoon as provincial minister for rehabilitation Makhdoom Mehboobuzmaan has issued an order on monsoon to all department officers to be on high alert on Sunday.
He highlighted the significance of protecting Sindh and its people, prioritizing the province.
The provincial minister said that the negligent officers will be punished harshly while visiting the divisional level across Sindh.
The Meteorological Office has predicted the weather to be partly cloudy; however, Karachi’s weather can be hot and humid.
The maximum temperature will likely reach 37 degrees Celsius on June 10 (today).
The current air temperature is 31 degrees Celsius, but the actual perceived temperature feels as high as 35 degrees due to the intensity of the heat.
The winds are blowing from the southwest direction at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour, according to the Meteorological Department.

In Sindh, the temperature for June 10 for areas including Thatta will be 37 degrees Celsius whereas Dadu and Mohen-jo-Daro are likely to experience 45 degrees Celsius, Sukkur to be 44 degrees Celsius, Karachi to experience 37 degrees Celsius and Hyderabad will reach up to 43 degrees Celsius.
